1. What Are Cookies
Cookies and similar technologies (localStorage, for example) are small pieces of data stored on your device when you visit a website or use an app. They help the site remember you and understand how it is being used.
2. Cookies and Storage We Use
We group everything we store into two categories:
- Strictly necessary (always active): authentication cookies that keep you signed in, preference storage (design mode, interaction mode, theme, language and layout), local project data (designs and drafts saved in your browser so you can resume them), and basic security/rate-limiting data. These are required to operate the service and do not require consent.
- Analytics (optional, consent-based): anonymous usage analytics that help us understand which pages are visited and how the service performs. These are off by default and only run if you opt in on the cookie notice. We record page views, feature interactions (for example starting a design generation), an anonymous per-browser identifier, and technical context such as the page path. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking, and we do not sell your data.
- Payment cookies: used by our payment provider (Paystack) during checkout.
3. How to Manage Cookies
When you first visit FlyerPro AI, a cookie notice lets you choose whether to allow anonymous analytics. You can change that choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & cookies, where you can also review the exact categories. You can additionally block or delete cookies through your browser's settings at any time. Please note that signing in, and features such as saving your projects to your account, require the strictly-necessary storage to work.
